Born and raised in the historic town of Tuskegee, Janease Kelley  has been a proud resident of Opelika for the past 18 years. After enrolling in college, she quickly fell in love with the community and decided to make it her home. 

Janease is a devoted mother of four beautiful children who keep her on her toes, but she always makes time for her passions.

In her spare time, Janease enjoys sewing, watching crime shows, and spending time with her loved ones. She lives her life by the values of respect, integrity, and sincerity, and strives to embody these traits in all of her interactions.

Above all else, Janease has a passion for serving others. She loves wholeheartedly and believes in making a positive impact on the world around her.

Motivated by her own experiences and her daughter's struggles, Janease is determined to make Journey's Heart a source of inspiration and hope for people facing adversity. She dreams of establishing this initiative as a platform for worldwide philanthropy, where her generosity and compassion can reach those in need, no matter where they are.

Through her dedication and tireless efforts, Janease hopes to make Journey's Heart a name that is synonymous with inspiration and making a difference. She wants her Faith reflected in her work.

Jerry "Bud" Butler is the Vice President of Journey's Heart and a dedicated father to four children. He is an Opelika native, with over 15 years of experience in his full-time job.  As an Army veteran, he served in Afghanistan, showcasing his bravery and commitment. Jerry is an avid sports fan, particularly passionate about the Auburn Tigers. He values quiet time at home and cherishes his family above all else. His unwavering dedication, strength, and love makes him an inspiring figure.

Kiejuan Simmons has called Opelika her home for many years and has become a fixture in the community through her dedication to her family and her work. She recently joined the Navy as a Master Communication Specialist.

As a proud mother of a beautiful daughter, Kiejuan cherishes the time they spend together, and it is evident that family is a top priority for her. When she is not with her daughter, Kiejuan is hard at work, dedicating herself to her career with unwavering commitment. She is most known for her willingness to give a helping hand.
